Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Kepful, a Chrome extension and online service operated by Bulusu Sri Vardhan Rao, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). By installing or using Kepful you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kepful.

1. The service

Kepful records the audio of a browser tab you choose, turns it into a transcript, summaries and action items, keeps a profile for each of your clients, prepares a short brief before your next call, and lets you ask questions about your clients through Ask Kepful, Kepful's assistant. You can copy, export or draft messages from this content. How Kepful handles your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You sign in to Kepful with your email address and a one-time 6-digit code we send to it. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure and for what happens under your Kepful account. Please give us a real email address that you control.

3. Acceptable use

• Get consent. You must get permission from everyone you record before you record them, and you must follow the recording and privacy laws that apply where you and they are. You are responsible for this, not Kepful.
• Do not use Kepful for unlawful recording, secret monitoring or surveillance of anyone.
• Do not use Kepful to break the law, harass or harm others, or upload content you have no right to use.
• Do not attack, overload or probe the service, try to get around plan limits, or copy or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.

4. Your content

You own your content: your recordings, transcripts, notes, client information and the other material you put into Kepful, and the summaries and action items generated from it. You give us a limited licence to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to run Kepful for you, including sending it to the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use it for any other purpose. You are responsible for having the right to record and use the content you bring to Kepful.

5. AI output can be wrong

Kepful uses AI to write transcripts, summaries, action items, briefs and answers. These can contain mistakes or leave things out. Please review them before you rely on them or share them with a client. Kepful is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice, and you remain responsible for what you send to your clients.

6. Plans and billing

Kepful has a free plan and paid plans. The prices and limits are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and are not available until we say so. Payments for paid plans will be processed by our payment partner, who acts as the merchant of record, and taxes may be added where required. If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and it will not change what you have already paid for.

7. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation works and the 14-day refund.

8. Changes to the service

We may change, add or remove features, and we may change plan limits. If a change is significant, we will update these terms or tell you in Kepful or by email. We work to keep Kepful available but do not promise it will always run without interruption.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Kepful at any time and delete your clients and their data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if your use puts the service or other people at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.

10. Disclaimers

Kepful is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its output will be accurate or suitable for your purposes. We are not able to tell you what recording laws apply to your calls.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost clients or lost data, arising from your use of Kepful. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Kepful in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, unless the law gives you the right to go to another court.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will change the date above and, where needed, ask you to agree again inside Kepful. Using Kepful after a change means you accept the new terms.
